This policy explains how Mamunur Rahman (“I”, “me”), who runs mamunurrahman.com, collects and uses your personal data. I follow Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
What I collect
- Details you send me through the contact or free-audit form, WhatsApp or email: your name, email, WhatsApp number, business name, website or Google Maps link, location and your message.
- Website usage data through Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example Google search or a social post). This data does not identify you by name.
- Advertising data (from November 2026): if you arrive from one of my Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta may use cookies or pixels to measure the ad. These load only if you accept them.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare the audit or quote you asked for, and deliver any work you hire me for.
- To understand which pages and articles help visitors, so I can improve the site.
- To measure whether my ads work.
I do not sell your data, and I do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Google (Google Sheets and Gmail): form enquiries are stored in a private spreadsheet and emailed to me; website emails are sent through Gmail.
- Hostinger: hosts this website.
- Google Analytics: website statistics.
- Meta Platforms: ad measurement, only with your consent.
Some of these providers store data outside Malaysia. They are major providers with their own security and privacy commitments.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, or longer if we work together and the records are needed for invoices, tax or the project. Website analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask me to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, at any time. Email hello@mamunurrahman.com and I will respond within 21 days.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies to work, Google Analytics cookies to measure visits, and (from November 2026) Meta advertising cookies, which load only with your consent. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
